Bridging the business agreement with ‘Kolao Group’, a national company in Laos
Jeollanam-do Wando-gun (Governor Shin Woo-cheol) signed a business agreement with Talat Lao (TLL), the largest wholesale market in Laos, in Vientiane, Laos, on November 14 to develop markets for Wando marine products throughout Laos.
Talat Lao, a wholesale market located in Sai Thani district of Vientiane, has distribution channels throughout Laos and promotes import and export, wholesale and retail market operations, and domestic distribution. The main trading products of Talat Lao are vegetables, fruits, local food, fish and seafood. , poultry, frozen food, dry food, etc. Based on mutual cooperation with Talat Lao through the agreement, the military opened a way to export Wando marine products to the Laos wholesale market and trade them directly.
In addition, Wando-gun has prepared a window for smooth communication with the Laos government and companies, and promised to do its best to contribute to the development of Wando-gun and Laos, such as contributing to the local community.
Wando County Governor Shin Woo-cheol, who attended the business agreement ceremony, said, “With the Kolao Group, a national company representing Laos, Wando’s special products not only in Laos but also in Vietnam, Myanmar, and Cambodia will establish themselves as leaders in the Southeast Asian premium market and captivate the taste buds of the world. We will do our best to build a PR hall, develop new products, and support promotional events.”
Meanwhile, Oh Se-young, chairman of Kolao Group (currently LVMC Holdings), a national enterprise in Laos, served as a bridge for this business agreement to be concluded as the grand prize winner of the 2020 Jang Bogo Han Award. The county is negotiating so that Wando-gun processed fish products can be sold at Kolao Group’s “Kokkok Mega Mart,” a super-large mart with an area of more than 3,000 pyeong that is scheduled to open this year.
